Dunya News - Multan: PML-N workers storm Sh Rasheed's hotel, raise 'go Imran go' slogan

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) workers on Thursday stormed the hotel where Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed is staying and raised ‘go Imran go’ and ‘go Sheikh go’ slogans, Dunya News reported.

According to the details, PML-N workers, reportedly armed, attacked the hotel where Sheikh Rasheed is staying. They threw stones, rotten eggs at the building and tore down Sheikh Rasheed’s campaign posters.

A number of PML-N workers also surrounded the Multan Press Club where Sheikh Rasheed is due to address the media and threw rotten eggs and stones.

Talking exclusively to Dunya News, AML chief said that no steps have yet been taken to escort him to safety. He said that PML-N has come out in the open adding that PML-N workers fear even the posters and campaign materials.

He said that no one has contacted him so far and expressed the resolve to reach the Multan rally on Friday.
