BUSINESS DAILY - French Finance Minister refuses to budge on spending plans

The French Finance Minister says the government will not add new taxes or spending cuts to its draft 2015 budget. Michel Sapin made the comments after reports that the EU could reject the French plan for not cutting the deficit sufficiently. Meanwhile, France's nominee to the European Commission's Economic Affairs portfolio is also facing some tricky questions about the country's finances.
