F-18 fighter jets refueled, U.S. launches air strikes in Syria

The Pentagon on Thursday (September 25) released video of a KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueling aircraft as it refueled F-18 fighter jets prior to strike operations in Syria.

The video was shot on Tuesday (September 23).

The U.S. military says the aircraft were part of the second coalition strike package to hit Islamic militant targets in Syria.

The U.S. military also released video which it said was of U.S. air strikes against Islamic State targets in Syria.

The United States and its Arab allies bombed Syria on Wednesday (September 24), targeting what they said was the Mayadin Modular Refinery in eastern Syria. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released video on Thursday showing the air strike.
