Dunya News - NA speaker invites PTI members for verification of resignation

National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday decided to invite Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s lawmakers in groups of three for verification of their resignations.
Meanwhile, party chairman, Imran Khan has been asked to come on October 13. Sadiq, who had to start the process on Tuesday, will now hold the meeting with the PTI's first group tomorrow (Thursday) and the process of verifying the resignations will conclude on October 15.
Talking to media persons in his chamber, Ayaz declared that the process for verification of resignations will be conducted as per the law and rules. When asked about non-appearance of a member for verification, Sadiq said that legal advice will be sought, as the law is silent in this regard.
