Hundreds of cats and their owners hit the LA Feline Film Festival in Los Angeles' Exposition Park on Sunday. The festival's main attractions were celebrity cats Lil Bub and Tara the Hero Cat who both drew long queues of fans willing to wait two hours to meet the star felines in person.

The LA Feline Film Festival also boasted tents selling cat food and toys, as well as adoption booths for wannabe cat owners. In keeping with its moniker, the festival concluded by projecting a cat film at 20:00 local time (03:00 GMT).

Admission for the festival was $15 (€12).
