Sundakkai Vathal kuzhambu / Sundakkai Vatral Kuzhambu is a delicious and yummy vatral kulambu. It is a very traditional and authentic South Indian recipe. One can prepare this with Manathakkali (black nightshade) or any other vathal. It is usually served with rice and papads.

Ingredients

1½ Tsp of Sundakkai (Turkey Berry)
Gooseberry Sized Tamarind (Soaked in 1 Cup of water)
21/2 tbsp of Vathal kuzhambu powder
Pinch of Hing (asafetida)
Few Curry Leaves, Shredded
1 Tsp of Mustard Seeds
1 tsp of fenugraak seeds
Salt as per Taste
Pinch of turmeric
Jaggery
2-3 Tbsp Oil
Water
