How to Wake up On Time? Episode 22 Geek On the Loose with Ankit Fadia

Do you have trouble waking up in the morning on time? Whenever the alarm rings, do you simply switch it off and go back to sleep? In today's episode of Geek On the Loose, I will show you how to always wake up on time and never be late for anything.

I hate waking up early in the morning. No matter how many alarms I would set, I would never be able to wake up on time. I have even missed early morning flights and been late for important meetings because of that. Then I discovered the Walk Me Up! Alarm Clock.

It is a free app that is available for both iPhone and Android platforms. What is special about this app is that it will not stop ringing, unless you actually get out of your bed and actually take a predefined number of steps by walking around your room. Let me show you how.
Switch on the Walk Me Up app, enter the time at which you want the alarm to ring.
Go into the settings and enter the number of steps after which the alarm will stop ringing. Using the sensors built into your phone, the app measures approximately how many steps you have taken and wont stop stop ringing until you do that!

OK, I am going to try to cheat and fool the app. Instead of getting out of bed, I will simply try to shake the phone and fool the sensors into believing that I am walking around. The best thing about the app is that if you shake your phone, it resets the step countdown back to 15!
