At least one killed in overpass collapse in Istanbul

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

STORY: A pedestrian overpass in Istanbul collapsed when a dump truck mechanism was mistakenly activated on Tuesday killing one person in a van and injuring four others.

The truck bed hit a pillar under the overpass as the vehicle was passing beneath, causing the walkway to collapse and crash to the ground.

Traffic was brought to a halt for several hours after the accident.
