Deadly floods and landslides hit south-west China

Eleven coal miners who had been taking shelter in a mineshaft near their dormitory are missing following a landslide in south-western China.
They're among dozens of people missing after torrential rain caused widespread flooding and triggered numerous landslides across Chongqing municipality.
State media says at least eight people have been killed.
The official Xinhua news agency says more than 500 rescue workers have evacuated more than 7,000 residents to safe locations.
The agency also reported that the rain, which started on Sunday, has caused more than 68 million yuan ($11 million U.S.) in economic damage.
More rain was expected to hit the north-eastern parts of Chongqing on Tuesday, CCTV said, citing meteorological authorities.
