A man in Barangay Marnay, Sinait, Ilocur Sur showed the world the creative and resourceful nature of Filipinos when he decided to make a working ferris wheel made entirely of bamboo poles.Mang Johnny said he decided to make the one-of-a-kind ferris wheel to bring joy to his family and neighbors who wants to ride this widely popular carnival treat.
He said when he was small he could not ride a ferris wheel during fiesta in their place every May since he had no money to pay for it. As alternative to metal ferris wheel, he decided to make his own ferris wheel made entirely of bamboo and offer it for free to anyone who wants to ride it.
