GFL.tv Presents: Great Knockouts 1

GFL.Tv is launching a new series, airing the best knockouts from its broadcast schedule. This series includes only the best and hardest hitting fights, ALL ending in a great knock out.

Included in the debut show is a battle for the vacant NABA Featherweight Title from the Dover Downs as Cornelius Lock (22-6-2), from Detroit, Michigan takes on William Gonzalez (26-5 with 22 KOs) from Managua, Nicaragua. Lock is a technical fighter and will have to evade the wild and sometimes reckless style of Gonzalez who is intent on making this a dogfight from the very beginning. They will be fighting in a ring, but they could just as well be in a phone booth because there will be punches in bunches from both men. Expect this fight to be action packed until the final bell or until somebody gets knocked out. Don't blink during this fight.

In MMA action, CFFC Featherweight Champion Scott Heckman (17-4) defends his title against the undefeated Levan Makashvili (7-0). Heckman is an expert grappler with a strong wrestling base, but also likes to throw hands and is dangerous from anywhere in the cage. He is one of the top 145 lb fighters in the world and will continue to come forward no matter what. Heckman is as exciting as they come, and that is why he continues to be a fan favorite wherever he fights. Makashvili is a knockout specialist with an astounding 4 KOs in 7 fights. Makashvili loves to bang and he can end a fight with one punch from either hand. Look for these two to collide in the center of the cage with explosive consequences. Hands will be flying and these two are bound to blow the roof off with their style of fighting.

For the vacant CFFC Lightweight Title, TUF Alum and Bellator veteran Marc Stevens (16-8) battles Paul "The Irish Dragon" Felder (6-0). Stevens is a well-rounded fighter who is a triple threat in the sport because of his wrestling, grappling and striking. Stevens is a fighter that likes to push the pace from the opening bell and put his opponent on the defensive. Felder has made a name for himself across the region because of his willingness to throw down with anyone. Felder has a granite chin and packs KO power in both hands. Felder can fight in a phone booth as his game plan never changes as he is always looking for the knockout and crowd pleasing finish. Expect fireworks in this title fight.

BAMMA USA jumps into the fold with Strikeforce vet Paul Song (2-1) versus Greg Parker (3-0) at "Badbeat 12". Song has found early success in his career even getting to fight for one of the premier MMA organizations in history, Strikeforce. Look for Song to use his grappling advantage and get the fight to the mat where he can use his ground and pound. For the undefeated Parker, he is no stranger to early finishes as he has defeated all of his previous opponents before the third round. Look for these two to mix it up and have an explosive fight.
