Latin America turns against Israel over Gaza offensive

While most of the international community has taken a neutral stand on Gaza - criticising the violence on both sides, this offensive has also seen unprecedented condemnation of Israel's actions.

Latin American nations have been particularly vocal - Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, El Salvador all recalled their ambassadors. And Bolivia declared Israel a "terrorist state".

Meawnhile, diplomacy continues in Egypt over an plan to extend truce in Gaza.
