This video describes most commonly used 5 types of temperature and humidity data loggers. The term data logger is commonly used to refer recorders which record various parameters in electronic form. The classification is based on the type of usage and applications and the main types are:
1. U S B type temperature and humidity data logger with L C D display and L E D alarm indicators Single & Multi use models
2. U S B type p d f temperature data logger with L C D display and dry ice data loggers Single & Multi use models
3. U S B p d f type single use temperature data logger with L E D alarm display without need of any software
4. High Temperature data loggers for industrial and food applications from -200 to 1000 Degree Centigrade
5. Real time monitoring and data logging over the internet with Phone call, Email& SMS alert facilities
Please see further explanation for each of the above types.
First type is U S B type temperature and humidity data logger with L C D display and L E D alarm indicators (Single & Multi use models)
These kind of data loggers record temperature and humidity. The range of measurement is typically from -40 to +80 Degree Centigrade and various memory capacity is available from 8000 readings up to 128000 readings. In common terms, a memory capacity of 8000 readings implies it will record for 55 days if readings are taken every 10 minutes. The reading interval known as sampling rate can be programmed. There are 4 L E D indicators which will indicate whether the temperature or humidity has exceeded the programmed upper or lower limits. For downloading the data, a free software has to be installed and upon inserting the data loggers through U S B port, p d f and excel reports are automatically generated.
Single use and multi-use models will be available. Single use models are used for transportation when you may not need the data logger to be returned after the transportation.
Second type is U S B type p d f temperature data logger with L C D display and dry ice data loggers (Single & Multi use models)
The main difference from the previous data logger is that the reports are generated without the need of any special software at all. The data logger is detected as a simple U S B flash drive and you can download the data simply by inserting into a U S B port of your computer. The p d f report will indicate a graph and individual readings along with a summary. Single use and multi-use models will be available. The image shows models with internal sensor and with external sensor
Third type is U S B p d f type single use temperature data logger with L E D alarm display (No software required)
