Uniform Civil Code debate reignites

The Uniform Civil Code debate has been reignited with BJP leader Yogi Aditya Nath questioning the government on its intent to implement the Uniform Civil Code across the country. While the Law Minster Ravi Shankar Prasad has replied saying wide stakeholder consultations are needed for the same, opposition has raised doubts over the government's intentions.
