Dunya News - Pervaiz Rasheed urges Imran Khan to play his role in Electoral Reforms

Federal Minister for Information Senator Pervaiz Rasheed has said that government would welcome Imran Khan’s suggestions to improve the electoral process. He said that it was Imran Khan’s duty as an elected member of the Parliament to play his role in the improvement of the electoral system in the Parliament.
PML (N) stalwart said that if there are any suggested changes in any of the laws, constitution or the formation of the Election Commission they can only be implemented through an act of the Parliament. “Constitutional matters cannot and should not be decided on roads”, said Pervaiz Rasheed. He urged Chairman PTI to make full use of the platform that the public has chosen for him through their vote in General Elections 2013.
