Massive number of Kashmiris joined the rallies to protest over Narindera Modi’s first visit to the Indian Occupied Kashmir after swearing in as the Prime Minister of India. A strike was called on both sides of the border and most of the markets observed complete shutter down.
Combined rallies were also held by various political and non-political organizations in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir’s capital. Protesters took out a rally from the Central Press Club to the Quiad-e-Azam Chowk. Indian Prime Minister’s dummy was set on fire by the protesters on this occasion and anti-India slogans were raised.
