Kathith is an action romantic movie direction by A R Murugadoss. The movie futures Vijay and Samantha in lead roles. The first look of Kaththi will be out on June 22nd, (Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Birthday). Story Line Bengali actor Tota Roy Choudhury plays the antagonist's role in this film with Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Touted to be an action - thriller film, Tota plays an international gangster (Vivek Banerjee). To track him down, cops take the help of a criminal mastermind (Vijay). After a cat-and-mouse chase in Kolkata's dark, dingy gulleys, Vivek is grievously injured and put behind bars. He swears revenge against Vijay, but when he meets him next, Vivek realizes that the man is the dummy of the original. Production AR Murugadoss has indeed planned his schedules for his upcoming Vijay venture (tentatively titled Dheeran) meticulously and from the looks of it, he is very particular about finishing the project in 5 months, as planned. After two quick schedules in Kolkata and Chennai, team led by the Thuppakki director is off to Hyderabad. The film was launched in Kolkata on Sunday (February 2) by its producers Ayngaran International in front of the famous Kalighat Kali temple. ADVERTISEMENT The makers have officially announced the leading lady for Vijay. It`s none other than Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It will be the second biggie for Samantha after Anjaan with where she is paired opposite Surya. Anirudh Ravinchandran will be doing the music. George C. Williams will be the cameraman. Sreekar Prasad will be editing the movie. Lalgudi Ilaya Raja will be in charge of art direction. Anal Arasu will be the Stunt Choreographer. Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions will be producing this big budget action packed entertainer.
