THE INTERVIEW - Rudolph Giuliani, Former Mayor of New York City

He is one of the most iconic US figures of the first decade of this century. Rudolph Giuliani first made his reputation as a tough prosecutor in New York, taking on the mafia and white-collar crime. He then became one of New York's most successful mayors, serving from 1994 to 2001. He is probably best remembered for his leadership of the city of New York in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks in 2001.
On a visit to Paris, Rudolph Giuliani discusses the threat from Islamic extremism and explains his criticism of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
