[PSLV] Launch of Indian PSLV Rocket with French SPOT-7 Satellite (C23)

A French Satellite, Spot-7 was launched today, June 30th 2014 at 04:22 UTC on an Indian Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in India. Spot-7 is an agile Earth observation satellite offering 2 meter resolution imagery for the French Space Agency, CNES.

This was the 27th launch of the Indian vehicle and the 9th in the PSLV- 'Core Alone' variation which has no strap on boosters. The rocket also launched into orbit AISAT of Germany, NLS7.1 (CAN-X4) & NLS7.2 (CAN-X5) of Canada and VELOX-1 of Singapore.
