Italy digests early World Cup exit

Italian fans and newspapers have been reacting to the national football team's disastrous group-stage exit from the World Cup. Following his team's defeat to Uruguay on Tuesday night, coach Cesare Prandelli immediately offered his resignation, as did the head of the national football federation Giancarlo Abete.
