Protesters Burn Barricades in São Paulo

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of São Paulo on June 19 as a World Cup match between England and Uruguay was under way in the city. The large group blocked a highway, calling for a tariff-free public transit system, before protests turned violent as some began to vandalize cars and banks.
