MQM calls sit-In for Altaf Hussain at Numaish Chowrangi on M.A Jinnah Road

Member of MQM Coordination Committee Haider Abbas Rizvi announced a sit-in for Altaf Hussain’s release and appealed to supporters and workers to participate in the protest.
Speaking at a press conference at Nine-Zero, Haider Rizvi said after a consultation we had decided to arrange a sit-in at Numaish Chowrangi on M.A Jinnah Road until MQM Chief Mr Altaf Hussain was not released. He said everyone should come to endorse his/ her love and solidarity to Altaf Hussain.
He also appealed to Haqparast Awam of the entire country to protest for their beloved leader. He said people should stage a sit-in outside their respective cities’ press clubs to show love to their leader. He affirmed that MQM is a political party, strongly believes in democratic process and will exhibit peaceful and democratic retaliation to this unfortunate incident.
