Thousands march for the legalisation of marijuana in Chile

Thousands of people marched through the Chilean capital Santiago on Sunday, calling for the legalisation of marijuana. The protesters want consumption of the drug to be decriminalised and to be able to grow their own marijuana plants for private use. Protesters smoked marijuana cigarettes as they paraded through the streets holding up banners and playing music.
