"SPACE GIRLS" Thierry Mugler Haute Couture 1999 by Fashion Channel

Thierry Mugler, French designer, was born in Strasburg in 1948, he enrolls in a ballet school where he will dance professionally for six years. When he was quite young, in 1970, he moves to Paris, where he starts his career working as window dresser at Gudule's, the first Parisian hip boutique, designing in his free time. During that time he follows classes of decorative art, he wears his models and his style leaves no one indifferent. Two years later he works as a freelance designer for several prêt-a-porter fashion houses, traveling between London, Milan and Paris for 7 years.
The 1999 Haute Couture collection by Thierry Mugler was a mix of spatial and ethnic clothes and make up, with wild and sexy details.
Mugler published a photography book in 1999 entitled, "Fashion Fetish Fantasy" which assembles photos of his creations. All the designs are worn by Thierry Mugler's model and celebrity friends in the book.
1999 was also the year when the design house of Thierry Mugler created the special fragrance Angel Innocent, classified as a refreshing, flowery fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of pure mandarin, honey, fresh almond and other exotic fruits.
