Hit and run: Driver crashes into red light camera, drives off with it

Ever been busted by a red light camera? This young man has your solution.
Manuel Montano Herrera, 19, of Yuba city, California isn't a very good driver. On his way to work on Saturday he ran over some street poles and a red light camera. Luckily for him, he hit it just right. The pole toppled perfectly and made a soft landing right in the back of his pickup truck.
Herrera then drove for an heroic two full miles from the scene of the crash before he responsibly stopped at a red light.
There he got out to adjust the position of his brand new pole. Unluckily, a witness spotted him a snapped this photo, which was forwarded to police.
They didn't take long to track him down at a friend's house where the pair were caught trying to hide the 12 foot long thing.
Asked why he didn't report the accident, Herrera said he was running late for work. Duh. He was arrested on charges of hit-and-run and grand theft.
