Klitschko brothers vote in Ukraine presidential election

STORY: Ukrainian boxer-turned-politician Vitaly Klitschko and his brother, world heavyweight champion Vladimir Klitschko arrived on Sunday at a central polling station in Kiev to cast their votes in presidential election.

Last month Vitaly Klitschko pulled out of the presidential race and backed confectionary magnate Petro Poroshenko. Klitschko is running for the post of the Kiev mayor in the local election which takes place on the same day as the presidential poll.

His brother, Vladimir Klitschko last month retained his WBO (World Boxing Organization) crown. The 38-year-old boxer also holds the WBA, IBF and IBO crowns and has now been unbeaten for 10 years.

Ukrainian presidential election has been overshadowed by violence in the country's mainly Russian-speaking east and by Russia's annexation of Ukraine's Crimea peninsula.
