North Carolina Jared Workman man lived in a closet of a 14-year-old girl and had sex with her several times, police allege.
Workman, 27, has been charged with 11 counts of statutory rape and five counts of statutory sex offense. According to police, Workman and the 14-year-old girl met online and chatted for three weeks.
They eventually agreed to meet in the woods near the teen's home in the Love Valley area of Iredell County.
The teen brought Workman home and he lived undetected inside her closet for five days.
After coming home from school, he would come out and the pair would have sex. This went on for five days.
Workman was discovered when the teen's mother went to put some of her belongings there.
Workman ran off, leaving behind his mobile-phone and wallet. If convicted, Workman could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
