Several rallies were held in various cities of the country in solidarity with Pakistan Army.
The demonstrators said that allegations against the armed forces are not acceptable and that no compromise will be tolerated over sanctity of the defence institutions.
Traders, student organizations, religious and minority organizations held rally in various cities to show solidarity with Pakistan armed forces.
Demonstrators demanded end to the media trial of defence institutions.
Another rally was held in Lahore by members of civil society, lawyers was attended by women and children as well. The demonstrators kept chanting slogans in favour of Pakistan armed forces.
