Back in 1997, Garry Shandling asked Dave somewhat bizarre questions on the show.
"When was the last time you did other people's show?"
"How often do you pick your date out of audience?"
"Who do you think is more Jewish between you and Conan O'Brien?...you are LetterMAN, right?"
As for the last one, after awkward pause, Dave said "Thatwill be me."
The whole segment was uneasy to watch but the best line came from Dave right before the ending.
Garry said "If you didn't like tonight's interview, I'll be a better guest next time."
Dave answered "Oh! Yes... And there SURE will be the next time."
