Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2014 – Teaser Clip – Cuba, Havana

Between May and October 2014, ten men and five women, from nine nationalities, will gather to perform at the highest level and fighting for glory, challenged by the elements. Every stop includes some wildcard divers who will get the chance to prove their skills from a plunge of over 27 meters.
The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series kicks off with the first ever cliff diving event – on May 10th in Cuba (Morro Castle) and the sixth year of World Series competition. Morro Castle is a fortress that used to guard the entrance to Havana Bay. When it was built in 1589, Cuba was under the control of Spain. "Morro" means rock – a rock in this case which is visible from the sea and which serves as a navigational landmark. Perched on a promontory of the harbor opposite Old Havana, it can be viewed from miles around.
