Chariots of Fire (Chariots of Fire in Spain, and Chariots of Fire in Spanish) is a British film of 1981, directed by Hugh Hudson. Based on the true story of British athletes preparing to compete in the 1924 Paris Olympics.'s, Also, the title of the album with the original soundtrack of the film, composed by Vangelis. Although the film is a period piece, set in the 1920s, the Academy Award-winning original soundtrack composed by Vangelis uses a electronic sound, with a strong use of synthesizer and piano among other instruments.
