Skullgirls Encore represents the end of a long chain of setbacks for the super-hardcore 2D fighter. After issues with their publishers, the dissolution of their original dev team (Reverge Labs) and restructuring as Lab Zero Games, and a number of hangups relating to the rollouts of their various patches and updates, Skullgirls Encore encapsulates all the latest fixes and tweaks into one (or maybe two) package(s) for your PS3, XBox 360 and/or Steam platforms. There's even two extra characters added for your troubles... and one of them isn't a girl, which might be tough to wrap one's head around.
