MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain has said that Justice and Law are being torn into rags by the act of Extra judicial killings of MQM workers in Karachi. Altaf Hussain was talking to members of MQM Coordination Committee at Ninezero. He appealed transporters, traders and all citizens and workers to observe a peaceful day of mourning on Friday.
He said that Law worsen than law of the jungle is imposed in Karachi and urban areas of Sindh, He asked does the law & Constitution of Pakistan allows the police and other agencies to arrest anyone, kill and throw his body on the street ?
He said that If Police and Law Enforcement Agencies have the authority to kill a suspect by declaring him criminal, then the courts should be abolished. He said that It should be announced that its not government's responsibility to protect the live and property of citizens but citizens have to take measures for themselves to protect their lives and property.
He asked where courts become so helpless that they can't bring wrong doers to justice then from who people seek justice ?
