Newcastle University researchers have designed a terrorist-proof vehicle designed to minimize damage caused by terrorist attacks such as roadside bombs. The research team succeeded in developing a passenger car resilient to shocks, aimed at reducing casualties caused by terrorist bombings. The cars' ceiling panels are tied firmly with wire and the glass windows are coated with plastic. The body is made out of energy-absorbing material, would significantly improve the outcome of an attack."
