A 10-year-old little boy in Atlanta is now safe and sound after a very unusual kidnapping. On March 31st, right before Willie Myrick’s 10th birthday, he was abducted outside his home.

While the suspect drove around with Willie in his car, the brave little boy decided to repeatedly sing the gospel song titled ‘Every Praise’ by Hezekiah Walker. It seems as though the inspiring and religious lyrics got to the alleged kidnapper.

After cruising around with Willie for three hours, he dropped the child off and told him not to tell anyone about the abduction. Entirely unharmed, Willie walked to a nearby house and contacted his godmother.

Now the concern is finding the kidnapper. Local churches and business have joined forces to put together 10 thousand dollars as a reward to locate the suspect.

As for Willie, he’s being held as a brave, gospel singing hero. City leaders have held a meeting in Willie’s honor to alert other families of what they should do in the event of an abduction.

Walker, who wrote the song ‘Every Praise', even flew to Atlanta just to meet Willie. Said Walker "I just wanted to hug him and tell him I love him…I really believe that God spoke through me to save that young man's life."
