Airgun attack: Shooting rampage injures four in Handa, Japan

Four middle school students were injured in a drive-by airgun attack in the Japanese city of Handa, on Tuesday afternoon.

One student was shot around 2 p.m. when a van drove close the youngster and an air-gunman inside opened fire.

Thirty minutes later and about five km away, another student fell victim to the mildly violent rampage.

The attackers then drove into the school grounds and fired on a teacher.

Then, around 4 p.m., men fired pellets on a girl just minding her own business in a park.

Meanwhile, adult thugs wielding knives reportedly menaced a group of little kids as they left their elementary school.

The kids say the weirdos who approached them were driving a silver van and one of them had blonde hair
