[ISS] Launch of Progress M-23M Cargo Spacecraft on Soyuz-U Rocket

A Russian unmanned cargo vehicle, the Progress M-23M (Progress 55), successfully launched into orbit via a Soyuz-U rocket from Baikonur today, April 9th 2014 at 16:26 UTC. The craft is full of cargo for the International Space Station and it's crew of 6 Expedition 39. Docking to the orbiting laboratory later tonight.
