Woman kills husband by throwing kitchen knife at him after argument in Osaka bistro

A Japanese woman was arrested in Osaka this past Sunday on suspicion of murdering her husband by throwing a kitchen knife at him.
The suspect, Kazumi Kadoya, is a part-time waitress in her 40s at a bistro in Osaka's Naniwa Ward. Her husband, Toshiyuki Kadoya, was said to have left the bistro after eating there with a friend and then having an argument with his wife. A furious Kazumi allegedly chased after her husband and threw a kitchen knife at him. Another waiter heard them screaming and called the local fire department. The victim was sent to the hospital and was declared dead half an hour later.
During questioning Kazumi admitted to throwing the knife but said she had no intention whatsoever of actually killing her husband.
