How to Turn On/Off Network Discovery on Windows 7 ?


Step 1: Click on start menu and than click on control panel.

Step 2: A new window pops up ,Click on "Network and sharing center" or "Under Network and Internet" click on "View network status and tasks".

Step 3: A new window pops up ,click on "Change Advanced Sharing settings" .

Step 4: A new window pops up ,Click on "down arrow" next to Home or work (current profile),there you have an option to turn on/off network discovery,click on save changes at the bottom and you are done .
