Fort Hood suspect: new details emerge

Residents in the Puerto Rican home town of the soldier suspected of carrying out the Fort Hood army base shooting spree says they're shocked and baffled.
Ivan Lopez is accused of the rampage which claimed three lives and wounded 16 before killing himself.
(SOUNDBITE)(Spanish) NEIGHBOUR ORLANDO RODRIGUEZ SAYING:
"He's an excellent boy, at least to those of us here during the years he lived here with us. It's a problem of war. War damages everyone and that is unfortunate."
The motive for the bloodshed is so far unclear.
Fort Hood commander, Lieutenant General Mark Milley, says Lopez may have had mental problems.
