How to Sing High Notes in the style of Steve Perry (Journey)

Don't Stop Believing - Journey This singing lesson video focuses on voice techniques to learn how to sing higher with a clean high tenor vocal tone and a light vocal fold registration that is used by many AOR rock and pop singers. This instructional video includes me singing some of the song 'Don't Stop Believin' and then explaining some vocal techniques on vowel modification you can use to help you learn how to sing higher.

Please bear in mind that I am not trying to teach you how to sing high notes just 'like' Steve Perry from Journey as only he can do that. This video demonstration will hopefully help you to learn how to sing high notes more easily. Remember that this is purposely done using a thin fold sound to suit the genre. You can produce these higher notes with a fuller sound also.
