Chhattisgarh government ignored warnings?

With red terror rearing its ugly head and claiming the lives of 16 in a heinous manner, a bitter political fight has broken out. The Centre and Chhattisgarh governments are trading barbs over lack of security arrangements. The larger question however is - how long will innocents continue to pay the price for government's lack of will to tackle the spread of Maoist terror. Maoists ambushed a security patrol on Tuesday (March 11) killing 16 people including 11 of the CRPF in a daring daytime attack in the worst-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, a gory reminder of the 2010 Dantewada massacre in which 76 CRPF personnel were gunned down in the same area.
