Boeing and Malaysian Airlines shares take a hit

Shares in Boeing, the world’s biggest aircraft manufacturer, fell to the lowest in more than a month after one of its 777-200s disappeared with more than 239 passengers and crew onboard.

Shares fell 2.3 percent in New York.

In Kuala Lumper shares of Malaysia Airlines also fell 18 percent to a record low as the whereabouts of the missing airlines continues to baffle investigators.

Prices rallied somewhat, but shares are still down 30 percent for the year.

China Southern, which operated the missing Flight 370 as a code share, also saw its shares loose more than 3 percent.
