EGYPT - Concern mounts over press freedom in Egypt

The trial of eight Al Jazeera journalists resumed in Cairo on Wednesday. They are accused of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and broadcasting false reports. The journalists were arrested after interviewing members of the Brotherhood, which has now been banned by authorities and branded a terrorist organisation. Twelve others are being tried in absentia.
While a large majority of Egyptians back the government's crackdown on terrorism, an increasing number are voicing concern over the rapidly deteriorating state of freedom of expression in the country. Our Cairo correspondent Sonia Dridi reports.
