Is This The Next Biggest Reality Tv Sensation?

The television team that got you hooked on watching a crew of crab fishermen come face to face with the routine hazards of their job on Deadliest Catch is hoping to create the same must-watch obligation for the world of professional arm wrestling. (Yes, you read that right. Professional arm wrestling.)
AMC's newest unscripted offering, Game of Arms, follows the members of five regional arm-wrestling clubs to see how they cope with the challenges of competition, training and building a reputation -- as well as their personal relationships and struggles.
There hasn't been a whole lot of arm wrestling-based movies or TV shows (with the obvious exception of 1987's Over The Top), so there could very well be a market for this show that no one ever bothered to cater to -- similar to the way Deadliest Catch must've seemed like a huge risk only a few years ago.
With any luck, AMC will find themselves sitting on another surprise TV hit that connects with millions of viewers. I don't know about you, but I've often wondered if I could make it as a pro arm wrestler.
