Basque militants ETA give up some weapons to international monitors

The Basque separatist group ETA took a historic step on Friday, giving up some of its guns and explosives.
International monitors confirmed the weapons had been put out of use.
ETA announced a ceasefire two years ago, after four decades of attacks in which more than 800 people died.
The Spanish government dismissed the move, calling it “theatrical.”
