It was recently announced that Jobs’ face will grace postal stamps in 2015.

The beloved techie may help the USPS even if buyers only purchase the stamps for collective purposes. In the past, the postal service typically stuck with famous literary characters or historic figures to feature on their stamps.

A newly released list that announces the future stamps shows the USPS will be using some popular mugs. Johnny Carson, Wilt Chamberlain, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix are a few others in the mix.

Elvis Presley will be one of the traditional offerings. That stamp with the deceased singer’s face is considered the postal service’s best selling stamp since its debut in 1993. Back then, the cost was 29 cents.

As for Steve Jobs, the hope is his face will help boost sales for USPS, just like it did for Apple several years ago.
