Spanish women earn almost a quarter less than men says official data.

Female workers in Spain earn 23 percent less than their male counterparts, according to a report by the country’s workers union.

While the average salary for men is 26,000 Euros, it does reach 20,000.for women.

Both unemployment benefits and pensions are also lower for women.
