NFC Championship 2014: 49ers vs Seahawks is going to be loud
  • 10 years ago
Seattle's 12th man fans are stretching their vocal chords in preparation for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the 49ers at CenturyLink Field, so get ready for another earthquake.

The San Francisco 49ers led by Colin Kaepernick will head into hostile territory to face Russell Wilson, the Seahawks and the loudest fans in the world. The 49ers and the Seahawks have one of the fiercest rivalries in all of football. It's no secret that these two teams don't like each other. The game will definitely be filled with plenty of on field trash talking. The stands will no doubt be filled with even more.

The 49ers a riding an eight-game winning streak. San Francisco has been great on the road during the playoffs. Many analysts predicted these two teams would end up facing each other in the championship game. Both teams are preparing for a battle.

The Seahawks and Niners have split their last four games against each other. The Seahawks have managed to outscore the 49ers 71-16 and have been victorious the last two outings at a loud and crazy CenturyLink Field.

"It's a big deal to play here," Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman said on the team's website. "We've earned that right to play them at home, to be on our home field in front of our fans."

Kaepernick, Crabtree and Gore will have to bring their A-game if they're going to succeed against Richard Sherman and the NFL's best and most exciting defense.

Russell Wilson and Co. are nearly unstoppable at home. Will Kaepernick be kissing his biceps all day? Or will Kaep and Coach Harbaugh end up kissing something else when the clock runs out?
