Singer Ruben Studdard swaps pounds for romance

Ruben Studdard, also known as the Velvet Teddy Bear, is back with a new album titled "Unconditional Love."
The new album features nine covers of classic love songs and two original tunes.
The former American Idol winner, who ended a three year marriage in 2012 says he used his lessons in love as guidance.

"Thankfully I've grown a lot and I've been able to experience love, gained and lost. And I think that I now have the experience to sing these songs from places that I truly understand."
What he's also lost is weight, over 100 pounds, or 45 kilograms of it, as a contestant on the U.S. reality TV program "The Biggest Loser."
While he got eliminated before the end of the show, the crooner says his weight loss journey will continue.
